Miss. Savillo's and Mrs. Kozup's 3rd graders have had a very
busy first marking period! We are excited to begin our next units of study.
In
Math, we will begin learning about measurement. We will study standard and
non-standard units as well as the metric system.
In Language Arts, we will be
working on becoming more fluent readers. Our students will write longer stories
with more descriptive words.
Our Science unit will focus on the Earth's surface
and rocks.
We will continue in our Social Studies unit on climate, geography and
communities.
