Covert's Policy on Medication for Students

Dear Parents and/or Guardians:

This is to inform you that the State of Michigan now mandates that all medication given to children in the school setting be accompanied by a prescription written by your Medical Doctor.

This school will no longer give your child any medication (Tylenol, Advil, Mylanta, Pepto Bismal, Pamprin, etc.) for any reason without this prescription from your Medical Doctor. Parents, if your child occasionally needs over-the-counter medications, please contact your Medical Doctor prior to the beginning of school to prevent the suffering of your child.
